INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1966 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: One of our top introductions of the season is this delectably fresh, cool light rose-pink, enhanced by a charming ruffling. The flower looks extremely waxy, having unusual substance for a rose-pink iris. A bright red-orange beard adds a vivid climax. Annabel Lee has many wonderful qualities; telling landscape value, lucious color, wavy sculptured form, ideal height, fine branching, and excellent growing habits. Parentage is: (Raspberry seedling x Pink Tower) X (Vanity Fair x Pretty Carol). The color is actually somewhat lighter than the picture to the right It makes a supremely beautiful clump.
