INTERESTING INFO: From the 1961 Schreienr's Iris Lovers Catalog: From a highly complex ancestry involving eight different reds and coppers comes this bright chestnut red with hints of orange. As a garden clump it carries its nobly formed blooms at an unusual height, being as tall as the average blue, white, or yellow Iris - thus representing a real advance for reds. Individual flowers are also exceptionally well spaced on the stem. The nice proportions of the plant and the copious size, heavy substance, and rich coloring of the bloom make this one of the finest red garden Iris. $15.00
