INTERESTING INFO: From the 1961 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: This is the towering light wisteria blue that everyone singled out and wanted at the time of the National Iris Society meeting a year ago. It won and immediate HC (highly commended) award from the judges. Blue Linen is not a sky-blue but rather a soft wisteria blue of great charm with ideal, symmetrically spaced branching and 12-15 buds per stem. The lemon yellow beard harmonizes well and does not spoil the unsullied tranquility of the flower. This is a marvelous garden Iris that is truly magnificent in the clump.
