COVER: This 8.5" x 11" features the 1966 Introduction Tawny Mink. In the background is "Iris Time at Schreiner's," a photograph first used on the 1964 Catalog.
ABOUT: This is a typical catalog where it's type ran until the mid-70s. Irises were listed alphabetically, followed by their description with pictures scattered throughout the catalog. The font style consisted of the variety names in a sans-serif, all-caps font. The description was then slightly smaller in a serif-type font. They would use this format for many decades, perhaps until the 1985, but definitely by 1987, where the blue color was used for the names.
