1984 IRIS LOVER'S CATALOG
Click Picture to Enlarge

COVER: The 1984 catalog features three 1984 introductions: Fiery Chariot, Perfect Interlude and Pledge Allegiance. In the background is "Iris Time at Schreiner's," a photograph first used on the 1964 catalog and at least until 1984.

ABOUT: This catalog is similar to those of the Schreiner catalogs of the late 1940s until the mid 1970s. Irises were listed alphabetically, followed by their description with pictures scattered throughout the catalog. The font style consisted of the variety names in a sans-serif, all-caps font. The description was then slightly smaller in a serif-type font. They would use this format for many decades, perhaps until the 1985, but definitely by 1987, where the blue color was used for the names.

GREETING: This catalog scan was a donation from Mike Unser. Therefore, the greeting as of now is unknown to me.
