INTERESTING INFO: From the 1984 Schreiner's Iris Lovers Catalogue: Like an exquisite piece of fine jewelry, here is a festive gold banded Iris. Petals are waxy in texture and stylishly turned. In color, a glamorous pristine pure enamel white with solid gold standards and a golden ring ½ inch wide completely edging the falls. This rim is much like an embellished garland inlaid on the edge of each fall. An extremely agreeable pattern! Brisk, shiny – spic and span.
