INTERESTING INFO: From the 1998 Schreiner's Iris Lovers Catalog: Like the dominating winter fog that sweeps our Oregon coastal shores, this reverse blue amoena literally overwhelms you. Its stems stand 40 inches tall and easily support 8-11 of the large 6¾ inch flowers. Our photograph shows how the icy blue standards nicely compliment the cloudy white of the falls. Such a pleasant combination makes the child of Honky Tonk Blues a breath of fresh air late in the bloom season.
