INTERESTING INFO:
From the 2006 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: The sonorous overtones of this bitone evoke the mood of an impending tempest. Its standards have a foreboding ashy-lavender cast while its dark falls are a dusky purple and edged with the same color as the standards. The large 4" x 6½" flowers display billowing ruffles suggestive of thunderclouds. Vigorous growth, disease resistance and thick sturdy stems are its hallmarks.
