From the 1980 Cooley's Iris Catalog: Like the island conch shell, this iris has standards which are conical and furled, the falls flaring as a blare. Coloring is very pale pink-off-white, with burnt sienna haft, and even a pink-orange beard. Tall, with excellent substance and branching, and up to ten buds per 40" stem.
