Instantly apparent are the pleasantly undulating ruffles so rare in the darker Iris. In color this self is a rich deep blue with shades of intense indigo. Not only does this unusual creation capture that elusive ruffling but it also displays a charming lighter blue edging pattern more evident n the bottom third of the falls. Good-sized flowers, stem has 2 branches with spur, 7 buds. Truly a universe in itself.
