INTERESTING INFO: From the 1961 Schreiner's Iris Lovers Catalog: Of ideal form and garden habit is this broadly proportioned color gem whose fluted petals and lacy edging create a lilting, billowy effect. The deep orchid color is crisp and clean and carries extremely well. We consider both Lavenesque and Crispette invaluable landscape Iris because of the bold color note which they give to the garden.
