From its introductory 1955 Iris Lover's Catalog: The highest development to date in yellow plicatas. An extraordinarily clean yellow with trim plicata margins of cinnamon tan. A seedling of Frolic and Rodeo, it has the giant size and stamina of Rodeo without the latter's open standards. Firetail is the first plicata of giant size to combine an overall yellow coloring with the novel bronzy picoteeing that characterizes this interesting color class. An imposing Iris of unusual finish and landscape value. $15.00
