INTERESTING INFO: From the 1987 Schreiner's Iris Lovers Catalog: Merit wins the soul with this wonderously ruffled and laced cream creation. Its beautifully ruffled and fluted petals are incredibly stiff and have a heavy substance. The standards are a rich creamy yellow while the extra broad falls are lightly rimmed in the same cream shade. This robust plant has rigid stems with three or four branches and 8 to 10 buds.
