From the 1965 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: It has been a long time since we have seen a plicata that so closely recaptures the charm of that wonderful plicata of long ago - Los Angeles. But Magic Circle duplicates in a flower of modern size and excellent height and branching the same snowy ground, the same cerulean blue stitching and frosting at the extreme edges that made Los Angeles such a favorite a generation ago. Here is a real beauty!
