INTERESTING INFO: From the 1978 Schreiner Iris Lover's Catalog: Mellow Mood's subtle blending of pigments makes it a choice addition to those enticing apricot varieties. Its light flesh-pink standards wonderfully harmonize in an ascending crescendo with the warmer pink tone of the falls and couple perfectly with an ever so minute tinge of ochre. At the center of the flower one finds a dash of lemon-yellow. Alas the warming and ever changing hues of a morning dawn! This mellifluous shading is so difficult to describe that we suggest your viewing our illustration. Sunfast; three branches; 7 to 8 buds.
