INTERESTING INFO: Montmartre is a district in Paris, France. The name of the district is derived of the hill within it of the same name. It is most noted for the Basilica of the Sacré Cœur on the summit of the hill as well as the local nightclubs. Famous French painters such as Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh at one point held studios in this district.
