INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1974 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: No one color adequately fits the description of MYSTERIOUS. A sophisticated subtle blending of gun-metal blue to heliotrope, with a hint of lavender. The falls are rimmed with an unmistakable margin of light chocolate brown. This interesting brown margin swells to a complete uniform intensification of choclate brown throughout the standrds. The striking coalescence of changing hues varies from high noon to evening shadows, casting a haunting entrancing mood. The transformation of color weaves a magic spell. For a special treat in your garden, the witchery of this magnetic flower is "it."
