INTERESTING INFO: From the 1977 Schreiner’s Iris Lovers Catalog: A jewel – so different as to defy comparison with another variety. This new shade is a medley of rose and salmony copper that is completely intermingled. A real surprise! Unfortunately in extreme hot weather it tends to pale – would that it did not have this flaw. Most different.
Palladium is a rare metallic element of the platinum family. It is also any trinket used to provide protection or safety.
