INTERESTING INFO: From the 1961 Schreiner’s Iris Lovers Catalog: A luxurious brown Iris with crisply flaring form and generous size. The standards are a rich even shade of chocolate-copper; the lustrous, velvety falls are perhaps a trifle more coppery; yet it is practically a self color even to the beard. A distinctive, metallic sheen gives it unusual richness. Rusticana is truly a striking Iris.
