From the 1974 Neva Sexton's Iris Garden Catalog: Standards are a light French blue. Fall a deep blue. Blue-white beard. Large beautifully formed flowers with heavy substance. Closed stands and flaring falls. Well branched stalks with many blooms. Something new in a Blue Iris.
