INTERESTING INFO: From the 1978 Schreiner's Iris Catalog: This Iris captures the ever fascinating play of colors one sees when the blue Pacific's surf smashes ashore. SHORELINE also in some ways recalls the unique manner of coloring in a Japanese Iris. Pure white standards, falls so interestingly flecked and dappled blue on white. Very floriferous, often sending up double stems per rhizome.
