From the 1994 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: The opulently laced celestially pure white self is indeed heaven-sent. Its bloom habit is superb. Robust stems having three branches with 8-9 buds produce heavy substanced flowers in abundance. Smiling Angel also often yields two of these stems per fan.
