INTERESTING INFO: From the 1959 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: A frosty, sparkling, ethereal rendition of the Limelight motif in a larger, paler version. Sunnydale seems sheer as an apparition, fragile and membranous as a butterfly's wing, yet is of good substance and weather-resistant. Refreshing as a fizzling citrus drink on a hot day, it is a truly delightful Iris, with superb, serene form. The cool lemon coloring deepens at the haft and pales to ivory on the middle of the falls.
