INTERESTING INFO: From the 1964 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: A most outstanding new intermediate iris. This advances the blue spot or thumb print on the fall of the flower, witha remarkable sunburst of yellow on the haft and beard. Larger and fuller than CUTIE, it continues the advancement in this field. From the same pod parent as gave CUTIE & DRUMMER BOY crossed witha special X-rayed seedling of Mr. Schortman's. Maybe this is why this plant is so extra.
